Why do we love these Chambered Nautilus Duo 12 oz. enamel mugs? Enamel mugs are just nostalgic. They look awesome and feel great. They're perfect for little hands because they're mega durable. If you're camping (in a park or your backyard) did you know enamelware can go right on the fire? We love these mugs and hope you do too. Start your own collection or share as a gift. White-rimmed, enamel coated stainless steel.

The Chambered Nautilus (Nautilus pompilius) has fascinated scientists, mathematicians, and poets for centuries. Its most unique feature is its spiral-coiled, chambered shell. A newly hatched nautilus has a shell divided into four small chambers. As it grows, the chambered nautilus adds new chambers - adults have 30. The nautilus spends the better part of its day near the bottom of coral reefs to depths of 1500 feet (450 meters) and travels up at night to shallower waters of about 300 feet (90 meters) to feed. Unlike most other cephalopods that have a short life span, the chambered nautilus can live 16 years or more. Many are killed each year for the shell trade, however due to lack of scientific data, the nautilus is not a protected species.

SOZA (Support Our Zoos and Aquariums) is structured to provide supplemental revenue - 50% of your purchase - to participating zoos, aquariums and conservation organizations.
